Morten Savage is a writer and filmmaker whose characters look for meaning in unexpected places.

He received an MFA in Screenwriting from UNC School of the Arts and a BA in English Literature from the University of Georgia. His short film, TROPICAL GARDENS, about a loner chasing the record at a local mini golf course, played at the Riverrun International Film Festival, the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival, and others. It also won Gold at the Spotlight Short Film Awards.

His debut feature OVER THE WAVES, about love and loneliness by way of the internet, is in post-production after receiving an Artist Grant from the Metropolitan Arts Council in Greenville, SC.
